Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) organized a formal farewell and thank-you ceremony to honor its outgoing senior officials, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya, Registrar Dr. Tilak Ram Acharya, Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies Dr. Manik Ratna Shakya, and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr. Hari Sharan Chakun.
The program was held to acknowledge their contributions to the university during their tenure and to express gratitude for their leadership in strengthening academic, administrative, and institutional development at LBU.
During the event, the outgoing Vice Chancellor and other senior officials highlighted key achievements and milestones accomplished under their leadership. They expressed appreciation to all faculty members, administrative staff, and university authorities for their continuous support, cooperation, and dedication throughout their term.
Speakers at the ceremony emphasized the progress made in academic quality enhancement, research development, and institutional expansion during their service period. Similarly, Controller of Examinations Mr. Indra Prasad Kafle, Director of the Research Centre Prof. Dr. Gitu Giri, Campus Chief of Central Campus Mr. Daya Nidhi Gautam, Campus Chief of City Campus Mr. Mohan Bhandari, Coordinator of the Centre for International Relations Mr. Rajendra Ghimire, along with heads of various departments, shared reflections on their departmental activities and progress during the outgoing leadership’s tenure. They also expressed gratitude for the guidance and support received from the university leadership in advancing their respective units.
The ceremony concluded with words of appreciation from different departments and a collective acknowledgment of the outgoing team’s contribution to the university’s growth. The event marked a respectful transition of leadership and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to continued academic excellence and institutional development.
