The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Lumbini Buddhist University organized a one-day research seminar for the Master in International Relations and Peace Studies program. The event was held on the 4th of January 2025 in Nuwakot, Palpa, and featured insightful research presentations by second-semester students.
The seminar showcased a diverse range of topics, including geopolitics, nuclear energy, Nepal’s foreign policy, the history of international relations in Nepal, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Nepal, and environmental politics.
The students’ presentations demonstrated critical thinking and in-depth analysis of contemporary issues in international relations. The seminar provided an interactive platform for discussion and academic exchange.
Mr. Rajendra Ghimire, Coordinator of the Master in International Relations and Peace Studies program, along with faculty members Mr. Bal Bahadur Pandey, Assistant Professor, Mr. Mohan Lal Bhandari, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Usha Kiran Gwali, offered constructive feedback on the students’ papers. Their guidance and expertise added value to the students’ research endeavors.
