Lumbini Buddhist University and AIDIA Sign MoU to Promote Academic Collaboration

Lumbini, Nepal – 15 May 2025
Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) and the Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a formal academic partnership aimed at advancing research, scholarship, and interdisciplinary engagement in the fields of diplomacy, international relations, and peace studies.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Sunil KC, Founder of AIDIA, and Prof. Subarna Lal Bajracharya, PhD, Vice Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University, during a ceremony held in Lumbini.

Under this agreement, LBU and AIDIA have committed to fostering collaborative research projects, joint academic publications, and the exchange of scholarly resources. The partnership also envisions the development of academic programs and initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for student and faculty engagement within a structured academic framework.

The collaboration aims to enhance academic discourse by facilitating interactions between scholars from diverse backgrounds and promoting critical inquiry into regional and global issues. Both institutions recognize the importance of creating avenues for academic growth and exposure through such partnerships.

This MoU reflects a shared commitment to strengthening academic excellence, expanding interdisciplinary learning, and supporting the academic aspirations of both institutions. It lays a foundation for long-term cooperation that contributes to knowledge creation, policy dialogue, and intellectual exchange.
