Promoting Sino-Nepalese Academic and Cultural Exchange

On June 6, 2024, Dr. Kumar Khadka, Coordinator of the Center for International Relations, and Mr. Wang Yonghua, Member Secretary of the Lumbini Buddhist University Devdaha Education Development Project, visited the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in Beijing. They met with Vice President Yuan Mindao and Liu Qian to discuss enhancing academic and cultural exchanges between China and Nepal.

During the meeting, the representatives explored opportunities for collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations’ educational and cultural institutions. The discussions highlighted the mutual benefits of increased interaction and cooperation, setting the stage for future joint projects and events.

This visit marks a significant step in fostering closer relations and promoting a deeper understanding between the people of China and Nepal.
