Local experts and Buddhist scholars have been made to participate in the writing work as the first priority has been given to on-site study and observation.  In its writing Prof. Anandman Shakya, Prof. Dr. Bhojraj Kaderia, Prof. Dr. Sankichcha Mahasthavir, Prof. Dr. Gitu Giri, Prof. Chhatraraj Shakya, Associate Prof. Dr. Kabindra Bajracharya, Dr. Deepak Prasad Acharya, Meena Shahi and Geeta Sharma have participated. As this book is an official book that provides information about the Buddhist heritage and culture of Lumbini Province, it is useful for universities, colleges, schools, tourism professionals and those who are curious about Buddhist philosophy.

Buddhist history of this province, Buddhist practices, Buddhist rituals, Buddhist experts, introduction to major Buddhist sites, painting, sculpture, architecture, management of Buddhist heritage, importance of Buddhist education, importance of Buddhist philosophy for peace and prosperity have been highlighted. It is expected to help for the sustainable development of the province.
