Lumbini Buddhist University’s Faculty of Buddhist Studies is pleased to announce admissions for its two-year, full-time Master’s Degree by Dissertation (MDD) program for the academic year 2025/2026.
This research-intensive and fully online program is designed for international students who wish to deepen their knowledge and engage in advanced study across disciplines including:
- Buddhist Philosophy
- History & Literature
- Meditation & Psychology
- Education & Culture
- Archaeology & Applied Buddhism
Rooted in Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha, this program offers a unique opportunity to pursue higher Buddhist studies within a spiritually rich and historically significant context.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Division or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Open exclusively to international students from all academic backgrounds.
- Preference given to applicants with a background or interest in Buddhist Studies.
