Lumbini, Nepal – Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) has welcomed a new batch of international students from China, Malaysia, and India into its Master’s programs. A total of 38 students from these three countries have joined the university, further strengthening its global academic community.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Subarnalal Bajracharya, and the Registrar, Dr. Tilak Ram Acharya, officially handed over the admission letters to the newly enrolled students in a formal ceremony. During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Dr. Manik Ratna Shakya introduced the students to their courses, providing an insightful overview of the academic curriculum and the learning opportunities they will experience.

Additionally, the Coordinator of the Center for International Relations Mr. Rajendra Ghimire extended a warm welcome to the students, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and enriching learning environment. The presence of these international students is expected to contribute to cross-cultural exchange and deepen the understanding of Buddhist studies on a global scale.
