Lumbini, August 9, 2024 — Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) today hosted a welcome and orientation program for students enrolled in various short-term courses from several affiliated institutions. The event, held at the university’s Central Office Auditorium, was attended by key university officials, including Registrar Dr. Tilak Ram Acharya, Director of the Research Center Prof. Dr. Gitu Giri, and Director of Planning and Monitoring Dr. Kul Prasad Khanal.
The orientation program brought together students from Panini College of Hospitality, ICACHM, Kapilvastu School of Hotel Management, FairCode School of Bartending, Barista and Beverage, and Fume Coffee Training Institute. The event aimed to familiarize the students with the university’s resources, introduce them to the academic and administrative staff, and provide an overview of the courses they will be undertaking.
Registrar Dr. Tilak Ram Acharya welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of practical training in their chosen fields. “Your participation in these programs is a crucial step in building the skills that will drive your professional success,” Dr. Acharya stated.
Director of the Research Center Prof. Dr. Gitu Giri highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting the students’ academic journey, while Dr. Kul Prasad Khanal, Director of Planning and Monitoring, outlined the strategic initiatives the university is taking to enhance educational quality and student experience.
Host of the program, Lecturer Shree Prasad Bhattrai concluded the program with the special thank to all the officials. He also thanked Academic Coordinator Mr. Rajendra Ghimire , IT Consultant Mr. Robin Panthi, and IT Administrator Mr. Aditya Bhusal for their unwavering support.
