The curriculum seeks to integrate traditional Buddhist teachings with modern academic practices, including the innovative use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance understanding of Buddhist concepts.

In his opening remarks, Vice Chancellor Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya emphasized the need to equip students with ethical awareness and skills to engage effectively with contemporary society. The seminar also highlighted the inclusion of practical components such as meditation, fieldwork, and community service.

Participants recommended a sequential curriculum design to ensure gradual learning without content repetition and suggested incorporating primary Buddhist texts, Pāli Suttas, and Nepali scholarly works. The seminar reaffirmed the university’s commitment to aligning the program with the standards of the University Grants Commission Nepal and the Government of Nepal.
