Lumbini Buddhist University Empowers Faculty with New Insights on Workplace Well-being

Lumbini Buddhist University successfully conducted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on 5th December 2024 at its Central Office. The event, held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members across various departments.

The program was led by distinguished speakers Dr. Vikas Arora and Ms. Seema Arora from the Sunshine Group of Institutions. The theme of the session, “Happiness at Workplace,” focused on fostering positivity, enhancing workplace productivity, and promoting a harmonious work environment.

Dr. Vikas Arora emphasized the importance of emotional well-being and shared actionable strategies for creating a supportive workplace culture. Ms. Seema Arora engaged the participants with interactive activities and insights on maintaining a balance between professional and personal life. Faculty members found the session highly engaging and informative.

The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Gitu Giri, Director of Lumbini Research Center; Dr. Kul Prasad Khanal, Planning and Monitoring Director; and Mr. Rajendra Ghimire, Coordinator of the Center of International Relations, who expressed their gratitude to the speakers and appreciated their efforts. He highlighted the university’s commitment to organizing similar events in the future to support faculty growth and development.

The Faculty Development Program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the participants inspired and equipped with practical tools to implement in their professional lives. It was a step forward in enhancing the overall academic excellence of the university.
