Insights and Tips for Semester Exchange Program in China by Lumbini Buddhist University

The Center for International Relations, Lumbini Buddhist University has organized a thorough Orientation Program at the Namaste Party Palace, Belbas, in Sponsorship of the Faculty of Humaniies and Social Sciences, which saw the participation of 27 students, faculty members, officials, and other distinguished guests. The session was skillfully facilitated by Dr. Kumar Khadka, Coordinator of the Center for International Relations at Lumbini Buddhist University.

The event featured insightful contributions from Mr. Sajan Sharma Panthi, a senior student who previously participated in the Semester Exchange Program in Nanhai Buddhism Academy, China. Mr. Sharma provided valuable first-hand insights into life at the academy and shared practical advice about various aspects of living and studying in China. Similarly, Ms. Smarika Kandel, the senior student who had already been to Semester Exchange program, shared her experiences to enhance their understanding.

Mr. Lilamani Pandey hosted the event, which lasted approximately for four hours. The program included detailed information on visa processing, ticketing, currency exchange, shopping in China, rules and regulations of Nanhai Buddhim Academy, and adhering to local regulations and rules. The primary focus was on preparing students for their upcoming Semester Exchange Program in China representing Lumbini Buddhist University in Nepal.

The orientation was well-received, with attendees expressing high levels of satisfaction. Faculty members present included Assistant Campus Chief of City Campus Mr. Mohanlal Bhandari, Dr. Deepak Acharya, Ms. Anju Kanal, the Coordinator of the BTTM Program at the Central Campus, Mr. Pushkar Gyawali, Mr. Ram Chandra Karki, Mr. Arun Singh and other distinguished faculty

members. Mr. Mahesh Gaire managed all the technical requirements to make the event a grand success. The session aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and tools for a smooth and successful exchange experience, ensuring they are well-prepared for their journey ahead.
