Lumbini, Nepal – A group of students from the Bachelor in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (BTCSOL) program at Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) recently visited the Dhammakaya Foundation in Thailand as part of an academic and cultural exchange initiative.

During their visit, the students engaged in meaningful discussions with the monks and students of the Dhammakaya Foundation, exploring topics related to Buddhist philosophy, language education, and cross-cultural understanding. The interaction provided valuable insights into the role of Buddhism in fostering global harmony and the significance of multilingual communication in spreading Buddhist teachings.

The students also had the opportunity to observe the meditation practices and educational approaches adopted by the Dhammakaya Foundation. Through interactive sessions, they exchanged perspectives on teaching methodologies, Buddhist studies, and language learning, strengthening their understanding of how Buddhism and education intersect in different cultural contexts.

This visit reflects LBU’s commitment to providing international exposure to its students, promoting cross-border academic collaboration, and enhancing their understanding of Buddhist traditions beyond Nepal. The engagement with the Dhammakaya Foundation further solidifies ties between the two institutions, paving the way for future academic partnerships and research initiatives.
