Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) was established at the birthplace of Buddha in 2004 AD with the objective of propagating Buddha’s teachings through academic studies and research works. To contribute in this direction, even through this small effort,LBU Central Campus has been publishing research journal ‘Lumbinī Prabhā’ at every Buddha Purnima since 2016. The present issue is the 4th volume and it comprises the articles from national and international Buddhist Scholars, LBU Faculties and Students comprising articles on Buddhist philosophy, History, Culture, Art & Architecture, Buddhist Education and other various subjects related to Buddhism.
Lumbini Prabhā: A Beacon of Buddhist Scholarship
Nepal, the birthplace of the Buddha, has been a center for Buddhist study and practice for over 26 centuries. To further this rich tradition, Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) publishes the research journal “Lumbini Prabhā.”
