At Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU), our commitment to the study, teaching, and research of Buddhist philosophy, literature, education, and culture is unwavering. This dedication serves as the cornerstone of our mission to provide accessible and high-quality educational programs. Currently, we operate across two primary campuses to serve our academic community:
Central Campus, Lumbini: Situated within the hallowed grounds of Lumbini’s academic building complex, our central campus embodies the essence of Buddhist heritage and intellectual pursuit.
City Campus, Butwal: Located in the vibrant heart of Butwal Nayagaun, our city campus is an integral part of the Butwal in the Rupandehi district.
In addition to our core campuses, LBU fosters collaborative relationships with three other educational institutions that share our vision for excellence in Buddhist education. Moreover, we proudly affiliate with eight campuses located in the culturally rich Bagmati province. These affiliations represent our commitment to expanding the reach and impact of Buddhist education.
Our multi-campus approach allows us to provide diverse learning opportunities and embrace the values of Buddhist wisdom, both locally and internationally. At LBU, we stand united in our mission to promote knowledge, culture, and the timeless teachings of Buddhism.”
