Shree Prasad Bhattarai (PhD.) is a distinguished academic and hospitality management professional, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Management and Assistant Professor at Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU), Nepal. He holds a PhD in Management from Lincoln University College, Malaysia (2025), where his research focused on complaints and service recovery in service industries. With a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from University College Birmingham, UK, and a Bachelor’s in Hotel Management from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), Dr. Bhattarai brings a strong academic foundation and a deep understanding of the global hospitality sector. His early leadership as Program Coordinator and later as Principal at Western Mega College from 2014 to 2023 laid the groundwork for his academic vision and administrative expertise.
Dr. Bhattarai has traveled to over 25 countries, gaining academic and professional exposure across the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, China, and more.
