Dr. Kumar Khadka

Coordinator for the Center for International Relations

Lecturer and Coordinator for the Center for International Relations at Lumbini Buddhist University. Founder and editor of the Nepali Journal of Sinology, he advances Chinese language education in Nepal. He also contributes to interdisciplinary research as a life member of various academic and conservation organizations.

Biography

Dr. Kumar Khadka is a Lecturer and the Coordinator for the Center for International Relations at Lumbini Buddhist University. He holds a PhD from Beijing Normal University, a Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Science. His academic and professional journey is marked by significant contributions to the field of Sinology and international education.

As the founder and editor of the Nepali Journal of Sinology, Dr. Khadka has played a pivotal role in advancing the study of Chinese language and culture in Nepal. He is also the founder and life member of the Teachers Association of Chinese Language, highlighting his commitment to language education. His dedication to interdisciplinary research is further evident through his life memberships with Bird Conservation Nepal and the Lumbini Buddhism and Tea Research Centre, where he serves as a researcher.

Dr. Khadka’s extensive experience and scholarly work make him a vital asset to Lumbini Buddhist University. His leadership at the Center for International Relations fosters global academic exchanges and enhances the university’s international presence. Through his teaching and research, Dr. Khadka continues to inspire students and contribute to the academic excellence of the university.
