Biography

Er. Prabin Ghimire is a Civil Engineering Officer at Lumbini Buddhist University, responsible for overseeing all civil engineering works across the university’s infrastructure and development initiatives. He brings a strong technical background and a commitment to quality, sustainability, and institutional growth.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Chennai, India, and served for approximately 3.5 years as a Civil Engineering Officer under the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management, and Cooperatives, Lumbini Province. During this tenure, he was involved in the planning, estimation, valuation, and monitoring of various rural infrastructure projects, with a focus on agricultural and livestock development.

Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s degree in Rural Development, further integrating his engineering expertise with development planning and community focused approaches.

Er. Ghimire is passionate about sustainable construction, rapid housing solutions, and the practical application of engineering to solve real world development challenges in Nepal.
