Biography

Arjun Bahadur Ayadi is an Associate Professor at the department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Mid-West University. He teaches courses related to International Relations and Diplomacy. Prior to teaching at Mid-West University, he also taught at Birendranagar Multiple Campus, Surkhet, from 2002 to 2012. He has been educated at Tribhuvan University Nepal and Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi. He has also been the Director of School of Law, member of research committee, faculty board and head of subject committee of faculty of humanities and social sciences, Mid-West University. His areas of interest include foreign policy of Nepal, international relations and politics, globalization, political theory, contemporary political movements, civil society, democracy, federalism, constitutionalism and populism. He has been involved with different projects related to national and international issues. He writes regularly for various News Dailies including The Kantipur Daily, Himal Khabar Patrika and Rajdhani Daily.

  • Arjun Bahadur Ayadi's areas of interest encompass a broad spectrum of political and governance-related fields. His focus includes International Relations and Politics, where he explores global diplomatic dynamics, international cooperation, and geopolitical strategies. His engagement with Foreign Policy delves into how nations interact, negotiate, and shape their external affairs. He is also deeply invested in Social and Political Movements, analyzing their impact on societal transformation and policy shifts. His interest in Governance and Policy extends to the mechanisms of public administration, policy formulation, and institutional efficiency. Furthermore, he actively examines Political Parties, their structures, ideologies, and roles in democratic systems. His study of Federalism focuses on power distribution, decentralization, and its effects on governance. Lastly, his interest in Constitutionalism highlights the principles, interpretations, and applications of constitutional frameworks in ensuring democratic integrity and legal order.
