Biography

Dr. Manik Ratna Shakya is a distinguished academic and an accomplished Associate Professor, currently serving as the Dean of Lumbini Buddhist University. His journey in academic leadership began when he was appointed as the Assistant Dean on 2073/01/12, a position he held for two years, during which he demonstrated exceptional administrative acumen and a profound commitment to the university’s mission. Recognizing his contributions and potential, the university appointed him as Dean on 2075/06/16.

Dr. Shakya’s academic credentials are complemented by his extensive research in Buddhist studies, making him a respected figure in the academic community.
