LBU and China Three Gorges University Establish Multidisciplinary Research Partnership

Lumbini Buddhist University has entered a strategic academic partnership with the School of Foreign Studies, the Nepal Research Centre, and the National Innovation and Talent Introduction Base for Energy and Environmental Materials Chemistry at China Three Gorges University (CTGU).

This MoU brings together multidisciplinary expertise from CTGU’s language studies, cultural research, and advanced scientific innovation units. The partnership focuses on:

  • Collaborative research across multiple fields
  • Joint academic activities and cross-cultural programs
  • Student and faculty exchange opportunities
  • Cooperation in environmental materials chemistry and innovation

University officials expressed confidence that the collaboration would strengthen LBU’s expanding global network. “This partnership allows our scholars to work with a respected international institution across both humanities and scientific disciplines,” an LBU spokesperson commented.

The MoU signals a shared interest in fostering meaningful academic mobility and advancing innovative research.
