This three-day residential training program is designed to equip faculty members with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement competency-based learning (CBL) in their classrooms.   • Assessment procedure and policies applied on Higher education curriculum
  • Essential Skills to be Gained for Effective Application in Professional Teaching-Learning Environments
  • Techniques for Demonstrating Knowledge and Ideas Through Effective Record Keeping
  • The Significance of Academic Writing in Higher Education
  • Digitalization and its implications in Higher Education focused on classroom teaching and resource preparation

Schedule:

The learning objectives of the sessions conducted on Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 are as follows:

Day 1 (June 7th):

  • Highlight the importance and guidelines for participants to understand the concept of competency-based learning and its implications in academia.
  • Comprehend the historical background, modality, and application of competency-based learning in academia.
  • Understand the evolution of various modalities of comprehensive learning.

Day 2 (June 8th):

  • Develop a comparative study on teaching approaches and ideology in current academia.
  • Learn about syllabus design on respective subjects.
  • Identify the major skills required and pursue the skill through academia.
  • Develop an understanding of academic writing.
  • Develop the assessment modality and evaluation elements.

  • Digitalization and its implications in Higher Education focused on classroom teaching and resource preparation.
