The International Conference on IT Applications and Management (ITAM) is an esteemed global forum designed to foster the exchange of innovative ideas, cutting-edge research, and knowledge related to the application and management of information technologies. The 30th ITAM conference (ITAM-30) focuses on the interplay between entrepreneurship and spirituality in the digital age, exploring how digital innovation impacts our social and economic landscapes while fostering a sustainable and spiritually aligned future.
As part of ITAM-30, affiliated events will include symposiums, paper presentations, and visits to the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha in Lumbini and other renowned monasteries.

The 30th ITAM Conference brings together thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners to explore the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and spirituality in today’s age of digital abundance. The event will include keynote speeches, paper presentations, panel discussions, and site visits to Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha.

14:00 | Welcome and Check-in of ITAM Delegates | Delegates from various universities and organizations arrive at Lumbini. The check-in process will be facilitated by Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) staff at the hotel. |
16:00 – 17:00 | Informal Meeting with Deans and LBU Authorities | A casual meet-and-greet session will be held at Lumbini Buddhist University with the Deans, University authorities, and senior faculty members to discuss the symposium’s objectives and foster collaboration. |
17:00 – 19:30 | Visit Major Lumbini Sites | Delegates will visit major Buddhist landmarks, including the Maya Devi Temple (Birthplace of Buddha), the Ashoka Pillar, and the Lumbini Garden. This visit will provide delegates with an opportunity to experience the sacred and historical significance of the site. |
19:30 – 21:00 | Courtesy Dinner by LBU at Buddha Maya Garden | A formal dinner will be hosted at the Buddha Maya Garden, where delegates will have an opportunity to interact with fellow participants, exchange ideas, and enjoy traditional Nepali cuisine in a peaceful setting. |
21:00 | Return to Hokee Hotel | After the dinner, delegates will be transported back to their respective hotels for the night. |

06:00 – 06:30 | Walk to Mayadevi Premises for Meditation | A peaceful walk will be organized to the Mayadevi Temple, the birthplace of Buddha. Delegates will engage in a 30-minute meditation session, connecting with the spiritual heritage of Lumbini. |
07:30 – 09:00 | Breakfast at Hotel | Breakfast will be provided at the hotel before the academic sessions begin. |
09:30 – 9:45 | Arrival at Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) | Delegates will arrive at LBU campus where they will be received by the symposium organizing committee and directed to the venue of the event. |
9:45 – 10:00 | Meet and Greet Session | Official opening of the symposium with brief introductions. The moderator, Dr. Manik Ratna Shakya, will welcome all delegates and speakers. |
10:00– 10:15 | Session Briefing by Prof. Dr. Sateesh Kumar Ojha | Prof. Dr. Sateesh Kumar Ojha will provide an overview of the symposium, explain the schedule for the day, and introduce the themes and topics to be covered in the academic sessions. |
